Hal
My TC has the 15" steel wheels from the factory. i want to replace them with something nicer. But I am having a problem finding out what the stock offset is. I get numbers ranging from 40mm to 52mm. Anyone know for sure what the stock offset is? JWWOODY
HAL; WHEN I WAS GETTING TIRES FOR THE LINCOLN WHEELS THAT I USED ON MY TC, I SPOKE TO TIRE RACK. THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL. I SPOKE TO A GENTLEMAN NAMED GUS, IN PARTICULAR, BUT I'M SURE ANY TECH THERE CAN HELP YOU. I WENT FROM A 15X6 1/2 TO A 16 X7 WHEEL WITH 225/55 R16 TIRE AND THERE IS PLEANTY OF ROOM AROUND THE TIE RODS AND BRAKES. My search for this information is that it is +52.5 mm. I have been collecting information from various sources and don't recall the specific source for this detail.
