Im just curios if the three knobs for my climate control ( fan, temp, and direction)

are supposed to be lit? I noticed they do not illuminate. They work fine except i think they should be lit.

I have a 2011 transit connect wagon, and have had it for a few months.

thanks

Hello mrdavies, yes, the climate controls are illuminated. The climate control assembly contains 4 internal lamps. They are supplied voltage from the Central Junction Box (fuse panel) to the left of the sterring column, fuse F132, 10amp. The circuit also supplies voltage to the illumination of the air inlet mode switch/ac switch/defroster switch/hazard flashed switch/floor shifter. Are those switches illuminated?

Hey thanks for the fuse location, i will check it later this week when I'm in the car. YES the air inet mode switch/ac switch/defroster switch/hazard flashed switch ,+ shifter ARE illuminated. I guess this means its not the fuse... how could those bulbs (four of them) be burned out ?

thanks

Had this same problem with one of my 2012 Connects. Just got done replacing all 3 of the light bulbs. Just as soon as I get the pictures off the camera and figure out how to post them to this site they will be added. All 3 selector knobs were not burning but everything else was working fine. Fuse F132 was check prior to ripping the center console apart and was in working order. Pictures will follow.

And here is a picture of the bulb that was replaced. The bulb has no model number on it. It only says that it is a 14v 65ma. I was lucky and had some bulbs laying around the shop from a circular knitting machine from my dads old job.
