  1. Ford is discontinuing the U.S. version of the Transit Connect after the 2023 model year. The European version is on sale now. Check out the Ford UK website. 2. I have a 2014 short wheelbase. The electric power assist died at 63,544 miles in July 2019. A Ford dealer in the Cleveland, Ohio area quoted about $1900 to replace. The big cost of the job was the price of the rack itself at $1300. The rack cannot be serviced, just replaced. The rest was labor and an alignment. The part number for the rack is HV6Z3504EV. The rack does has a core charge.
  3. I'm looking to pull them between now and the end of October. I have to work it into my around the house project schedule. I plan on replacing the plugs since I'll have them out.
  4. Some pass along information. My '14 SWB with the 2.5L has around 55,000 miles now and I want to check the condition of the plugs and just break them free. I don't want to wait till a 100,000 miles before doing so. I went to one of the local Ford dealers and asked for the spark plug torque specs. For a 2.5L the spark plugs should be torqued to 106 inch pounds or 8.83 foot pounds.
  5. emassa15, will you be posting the photos soon? I need to drop the headliner in my 14 SWB to see if I can re-roll the sun shade back onto the roller. It somehow unspilled and jammed.
