  1. The same thing happened to us. When we purchased our wagon, the first thing we tried to do when we got home was to remove the cheesy dealership temporary plate cover. We were able to remove the front, no problem, but when we tried to remove the rear screws, we couldn't get them off the vehicle. We ended up having to cute the license plate cover to get it off because the screws were stuck. We had to take the vehicle to service for a different issue and while there, questioned the service advisor about the rear screws that wouldn't come off. He inspected them and said that whoever put the dealership advertisement license plate cover on the vehicle used the wrong screws. He said that when the vehicle is delivered to the dealership, the correct screws are not on the vehicle, they are in a plastic bag inside of the vehicle. Lazy sales people will just use whatever screws they can find to attach their advertisement.
  2. We opted to go with an after-market roof rack installation because the Ford track system was not going to be as versatile and aesthetically pleasing. We went through Rack n Road in Costa Mesa, CA. We had a few delays, but ultimately are very pleased with the end product.
  3. Another option I have looked into is a cup holder mount. There are quite a few options if you google it. Haven't tried it yet to be able to make a recommendation on one.
  4. Yes, barn doors were an absolute requirement for our wagon...and very difficult to find.
  5. Don, the links to your pdf files lead me to an error message. Do you have an updated location for them? Thank you
  6. Hello, we want to utilize the barn doors (Transit Connect Wagon LWB) for storage. We removed the panels and found them to be hollow. Does anyone know of a company that sells a kit to convert this into storage space?
  7. We were wondering the same thing...trying to figure out how we can use them to our benefit.
  8. Thank you for the responses. Don, we have looked at your posts and pictures - you've done a great job. Not sure yet if we'll go with the Weather Tech, we are still exploring options. In the meantime, we took out our second row and and one of the third row seats. As mentioned, our main purpose for the wagon is to transport bikes, so we are playing around with a few configurations. We left one seat in the back to use for a changing area. Here is where we are so far: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pwicrt7v4yo7cmk/IMG_3232.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/k3qkmv79seiywr7/IMG_3233.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/9k5oigm3u4eiqla/IMG_3234.JPG?dl=0
  9. We are selling the front and rear mud flaps that came on our 2016 Transit Connect Wagon. They were on the wagon for about 30 miles of driving before we removed them, so basically brand new. Front mud flaps: https://accessories.ford.com/kit-mudflap-10763.html Rear mud flaps: https://accessories.ford.com/kit-mudflap-rear-10764.html Asking $50 for both sets (each set sells for $50 from Ford) + $12 to ship them priority mail within the US. Paypal is preferred method of payment. Message me if interested.
  10. We just purchased a 2016 Transit Connect Wagon XLT LWB. Ultimately, we are going to be removing the 2nd and 3rd row seating to create as much room as possible for hauling bikes. Does anyone know if the WeatherTech cargo liner found at this link will fit properly with the seats removed? It looks like it is designed to cover the cargo area when all seats are in the wagon and seats folded flat, not sure if it will still work with seats removed. http://www.weathertech.com/ford/2016/transit-connect/cargo-liner/wheelbase/long-wheelbase/bodystyle/wagon/
