  3. Turbo chargers

  4. So, Comon' Man! I'm dying to turbo my Transit. I'm not afraid of hurting the tranny or the engine. Heck if it blows....they are a dime a dozen out there. So......Show me the kit! I'm ready to git 'er done! T-Dawg
  5. Hi Woody, Well, as ususal, the Ford dealer says the part number you gave is not in his data base. I did check on Ebay and there was one offered, but a different part number, Can you either give me the name of the dealer who you bought yours from or steer me in the right direction? Thanks, T.
  6. Thanks Woody, You are a wealth of knowledge! please keep the good stuff coming! T
  7. Hi Woody, Thanks for the great tip on the fog lights. It appears that Pilot makes a couple of different round fog lights. Do you by chance have the part number still? Thanks, T.
  8. Ok, so you are trying to figure out the TPMS. I oredered my new tires and wheels as a package from TireRack.com. They came with new TPMS sensors installed. I have tried to reset the system by following the proceedure in the manual. NOT! I still have the light coming on. Do you suppose TireRack could have installed the wrong sensors? I am not too savvy on this TPMS sysytem, so if anyone could help me out I would appreciate it. T
  9. So, you're killing me! What do you think of the performance gains rom the Chip? I could use a few extra ponies to turn these big tires. T.

    Rear HVAC

I was searching the web for new stuff for my LXT and came across a company that offers a rear HVAC unit. It looks prety trick! The finished installation is clean and doesn't look like a hack job. The product can be viewed at www.proairllc.com. Enjoy! T
  11. OK, I am ready to rock and roll! I havemy new Transit, which I call the "Buzzard" and am looking for some body kits to modify the outside. I have seen tha in the UK they released a limited edition with a rear spoiler. Looks pretty cool! At SEMA they had a camper conversion that had a rightous front air dam. Anybody know where any of these items can be purchased, yet? T
  12. I put a set of 225/60R17's on my 2010 XLT. I don't recommend it, but they do fit with a slight rub. If you turn the steering to the stop, either right or left, you will get a slight rub. The fiber inner liner on the rear wheel well needs to be trimmed a little. Otherwise, I am happy with the look. The tires are a little over 2" in overall diameter bigger than stock, which fits the wheel wells nicely, but it will throw your sppedo reading off by about 6%. T.

    TOWING

Doea anyone know how I might be able to tow my Transit behind my Motor Home wthout the use of a dolly? Can I just put the transmission in nuetral or to I need a transmission pump? Does any manufacturer have a transmission pump available? Does any manufacturer have a base plate for mounting the tow bar? The Ford Transit is one awesome little vehicle and I know that towing it behind my motor home will give me extreme flexibility. Thanks, T
