This obd hud: http://www.dx.com/nl/p/s05-4-lcd-hud-head-up-display-system-w-speedometer-obd-ii-cable-for-car-black-334344#.VHSkC2K9KSM I chose this unit for max information, screen color and a relative smal screen. In my opnion heaving this unit now, you don't wan't a bigger screen, it would be to much area on the windscreen. Plugged the unit in and it worked. No pictures yet. The unit is in place bud i have to finish it, such as non reflective material to close te gap between the unit and the cover. And some experimenting with reflective foil. There is no foil on the windscreen and the image is nice an bright bud under some conditions to much a double image because of the layers in the windscreen. This morning it was perfect, dimmed light and a almost invisible layer of moist on the inside of the windscreen.

No help, i used some force and the three retainers left and right snapped. On the cover I cut them done with a sharp knife and replaced the retainers by using double sided tape. And of course,i cut out a hole and fitted the obd below.

In my other car i have a obd multi display, trip computer, speed, voltage etc. No i have a hud version i wan't to build in the dashboard. By cutting a hole in the cover that is in the middle of the dashboard and lay the hud in the paper shelf below. So it is out of site and it can project the image on the windscreen. For now, i can't get the plastic cover off, do you now how to get the cover off? Many thanks, Mc T

I have a history in car sound and pro audio, once i start with upgrading the sound system i now i can't until there is only space left in the front seats ;-) There is now a cassetplayer combo in the dash and that's just a little bid to vintage for me. And yes, factory looks with the advantage that they never will smash a window to rip it out.

Thank you all for your kind reply. There where a lot of wrapfoils and colors to chose from. I liked the color of this foil, a nice contrast with the silver paint. And also the gloss, not to much gloss. It's 3M 1080 wrapseries number 1080-G201. I ordered white side indicators and chroom bulbs, also a set for the indicators in the headlights. The only parts on my wish list is a 6000 radio with CD and the original roof spoiler, that last item is a problem to find I think.

Hi, To write in English, that's not a talent of me, i'm from Holland will try my best. A new owner, second time a Ford. A view years ago I owned a Transit, rear wheel drive L2/H2, I loved this van with his strong turbo gasoline engine. Bud I stopped with my company so the Transit had to go. Now several years later I found a Transit Connect 2004 in very good condition. The first owner, he used this Connect only for transporting his two racing bycicles(!?) It reminded me of my ' big Transit', that one was also almost like new when I found it. My Connect is powered by a 1.8 16v zetec. I did some mods: RS wheels 17 inch 225/45/R17 Striping applied Rusty rear bumper refurbished and painted silver Backup sensors Smoked winddeflectors (not that nice bud no AC, very usefull) Tinted rear windows limo black foil, Mod to the air intake for a nice engine sound. Tow hitch installed
