Safety feature
Old Country Woodworks replied to Old Country Woodworks's topic in Articles, News & Reviews
I was not able to replicate the incident. Maybe my knee hit the key in the initial process. -
I seem to have found a safety feature. I needed to grab a piece of paper from the far right hand corner dash. As I did this my butt lifted from the seat and the vehicle shut off. So it seems that when the vehicle is moving, and the driver gets ejected from the seat it will automatically shut itself off. Not Bad.

i finally did it. 2'' lift on my tc

How is this ride holding up, are you still happy? -
The problem with mudflaps as any four wheeler will tell you is that they get torn off in reverse. There is so little room on the connect that if you drive onto a jobsite or anywhere off pavement, they will get torn off.

Want more info. The spacers on the front are clear to me. What did you do in the rear.? were there any other linkages that needed to be added? -

My 2010 is showing pitting something fierce, wonder if they sat on the ocean too long. All rocker panels below the trim line and on the back doors.

I almost got stuck the other day in six inches of gooseshit mud. I think my traction control is not working. Your assesment is correct, my montana van did the same thing but I had the option of turning the Traction control off. Pull a fuse maybe. The other trick is to ride the brake at the same time to stop the free wheel from spinning. Old four wheel drive trick.

I almost got stuck yesterday in the mud. When I went to work the ground was solid. By 6 pm the thaw had been in full swing, as moved ahead I could feel myself sink down deeply and had that oh shit feeling. A little forward and back, a bit more sinking and a bit more gas. Actually flung dirt across the road. But it pulled me out I was impressed and thankfull. Kumho winter tires. Mud about six inches deep and then had to claw over the curb.

Do you think you could have gone any larger with the tires? 215 or 225/70 How are they performing so far? I am a cabinet installer and am packed full of tools, sometimes the jobsite access is not so nice. I have just checked my Kumhos, they are 25.5 inches in Diameter. I have seven inches clearance at the valence and 3 inches at the front wheel well. The 205 Geolanders spec out at 26.5 inches The 215 specs out at 27 inches, I think that is about the max before rubbing would occur during steering. Also from where did you order your adjustable coilovers. I like these, they look very interesting.
