I have a 2012 XLT premium Wagon and don't have that issue. Since I don't normally restart that fast, I just gave it a try several times and can't duplicate that happening. I wonder if it is some type of programming?

I've been looking into their running boards, but I wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with theirs or any others before I make a purchase.

I just got a 2012 TC XLT premium Wagon the first week of December. So far I am very happy with it and have had no issues. The only time I have wished for more power is when going 65 on a highway and having to pass someone. It is a little slow getting up the extra speed,but not impossible. I've moved around about 500 lbs of photography equipment, printers and computers and even hills haven't been an issue. The ride is a bit hard and truck feeling, but not worse than a Chevy Blazer I once had. When the stock tires need replacing I'll look into different tires and wheels.

HAs anyone added running boards onto their TC? If so, which brand and how have they worked out? Any pictures are appreciated.

How much of a difference will having the polarity reversed make? I know they need to be in phase, but if they are both reversed will that make a noticeable difference? I guess this week being 20 degrees outside I don't feel like pulling the door panels again! Mike

Which tires and wheels did you get from them? Did tehy improve the ride a lot, or was it more for aesthetics?

I found a Ford dealer in England that wants 251.62 euros for it. I'm still checking around, but I might see if they will ship to the states. They do have to special order it though, shich is why I am still checking around.

YIKES! that is 494 Euros? If so, its a $645. cover! Is it just a retractable cover? I appreciate your checking, but if I read that correct it sounds crazy! Mike

I'm not ready for something custom, since I'm hoping I can find the cover that was designed for it. I looked up the European version and all I could find was a privacy package that had the tinted rear glass and cover. Any idea who might sell that cover separate? I can't find a Ford accessories site for Europe.

I just got a 2012 Transit Connect XLT Premium Wagon. In the rear area there are slots along the top of the side panels, right below the windows. The slot looks perfect for a cargo cover, but my dealer can't find any from Ford. Does anyone know if anyone makes one?
