  1. Did you check power with a multimeter in those cable to be sure is no blow fuse?
  2. The yellow one is connected to 12v all the time..? The other red (no the fiesta only) is connected to ignition switch 12v..?
  3. Do you have a 2014 TC XLT , right..? Do you have access to your donor TC? So you could cut the harness with all the wires from that TC..? Do you have a pictures of your radio/fcdim connectors/Plugs..? So I can find them in my wiring book and try to figure it out how to add them...
  4. Just an update.. I swap my steering wheel and I was able to enable the cruise control using Forscan and works..! My TC 2014 XL Donor steering wheel is from TC 2014 XLT
  5. I found that option in my Transit Connect 2014 XL , is set without audio buttons. Before do anything else trying to get the right side steering wheel buttons to work you need to see under the steering wheel by clock spring and steering angle sensor to check if the buttons are wired to your car harness. I just checked my Transit but I do not have those wires in the connector.. I would need to add the wires and try to connect them directly to my radio.. See this picture
  6. Just a little update to everyone looking for info to activate the cruise control after swap the steering wheel...! I was able to activate it and test it and works fine in my 2014 TC XL With a leather steering wheel installed yesterday...! I did a change in "central configuration main"
  7. Go into central configuration main , I just found few settings about what radio you have.. maybe is something there you have to change..?!?! Look this picture...
  8. Thanks for the clarification about Mechless. I had the fm/am radio and no 4" screen. Now I'm happy with my android 8" screen headunit, I just need to find the I-Can wires inside the dash to connect them to my radio.. ! So in my opinion if you installed the steering wheel with radio controls and doesn't work, I think your radio doesn't have that option internally even if you have the I-Can wires in the C240A plug...!?!? Do you have factory backup camera..? And you can see the image in that screen..?
  9. I swap my steering wheel yesterday with a leather one with buttons on both side but I haven't connect the radio buttons yet... I let you know if I can get it to work...! Check this picture attached it is the I-Can network
  10. Check this picture attached, this is a picture from my radio plug C240A if you see cable #14 brown/green and #15 Blue/white then you don't have the I-can network in that plug.. if you have #14 Blue/Grey and #15 Violet/Grey then you have the I-can network in C240A plug I don't know what is "Mechless" and "Without Mechless" My TC is Mechless and I don't have the I-can network in my radio plug C240A
  11. My van had no camera, so I installed one cheap from ebay, isn't so great but is better than nothing, look fine but is pointing too much to the ground, which could point it a little bit up. Is this one in the picture
  12. Here is my radio, android headunit 8" screen. Yes I'm using USB cable also with android auto
  13. Ok I will let you know... That exactly the same radio I had....!
  14. Also if you see the picture of the wires adapter I posted before, that one has a few others wires that other similar adapter doesn't come with, I used it for connect the illumination wire if you buy the other one with fewer wires you won't be able to use the dim option when you turn on the vehicle lights.
  15. In my case , the harness I used had the same colors in the speakers wires as the harness from my aftermarket radio, don't remember about the power wires the colors, it's not to hard if you can send me a picture of you Factory radio plug to see the colors and I could help you
  16. If you have the basic am/fm radio you don't need any expensive adapter, just the one I posted
  17. I used this one in this picture but the one from metra should work.
  18. Here is my radio , I haven't change yet my steering wheel , so you can see have no buttons but will do it this week and let you know about the steering wheel controls with the radio.. Yes , you need some adapters Radio harness, antenna adapter and the facia for double din radios. Post a photo of your radio to see which one you need
  19. I replaced the original radio with an aftermarket Android 8" screen headunit..!
  20. Hello 69droptop, If you have the base FM/AM radio I don't think the steering wheel buttons would work because that the same radio I had and in my 2014 TC the radio harness plug doesn't have the wires for the buttons to works. I'm waiting for my leather steering wheel with cruise and radio buttons is on the mail and should arrive today. So in few day I will tell you my experience with the steering wheel swap...!
  21. Yes , my TC is 2014. I found one ipc from Canada at $95 free shipping, I'm tenting it is from a 2014 TC titanium but is in Kilometers, I think I could change it to miles using forscan changing the canada region to USA... !?!? What do you think? Because about the background in Kilometers probably I can swap the background from my ipc in miles to that one...
  22. Ok Don, thank you for the info. Yes I'm looking for one ipc and leather steering wheel with buttons on both sides, I'm using car-part.com I sent few emails already but not everyone respond. Do you know what is the difference between this 2 screens ? Different years? Different trims? I want the one with the black background.
