Well, Ford finally agreed to a recall on the shifter cable bushing that was posted years ago on this forum regarding the defective bushing on the 2013 - 2016 Ford Fusion. I just received my recall notice in the mail for my 2015 Transit Connect. Get it done as it will save you time and money in the future and you ,know it will happen to you at the most in opportune time. Not an expensive part and very easy install after you know what you are doing, but let Ford do it.
