MTX75 Support bracket problem

Hi Guys, I hope someone will be able to advise on a problem I have.  I recently bought a 2007 Transit Connect 1.8 TDCI with a gearbox problem.  As I understood the gearbox to be the same as the Focus (albeit with slightly different ratios), I obtained a good used unit out of a 2005 Focus 1.8 TDCI.  I got the transmission bolted up to the engine and then noticed that the mounting bracket off the Focus was about an inch shorter than the Connect bracket, meaning the whole engine/transmission assembly would sit about an inch too high at the transmission end.  I therefore tried to fit the bracket from the connect gearbox but found that although everything is now sitting right, one of the holes on the bracket doesn't line up with the hole on the gearbox.

The bracket off the Focus gearbox is part no. 3M51-7M125, and the bracket off the Connect gearbox is part no. 98AB-7M125-AF.

Does anyone know if there is a bracket designed for the Connect which aligns with the mounting hole pattern in the Focus gearbox.  Attached images show the differences.  First pic shows gearbox installed with Connect bracket supporting it, second picture shows different hole spacing, third shows different bracket heights (Focus in foreground, Connect behind), and final two pictures are of part numbers.  The replacement gearbox was already out of the car when I bought it, so with 2005 being the changeover year from Mk1 to Mk2 Focus I'm not sure what it came out of, but as it doesn't have a speedo drive I suspect it was out of a Mk2.

There was some difference between the normal 1.8 diesel and the highest powered one IIRC. Join the transit connect'ed facebook group, there are loads of people there who have made the swap.
