Battery change / assisted steering malfunction

Hi,

I have a 2015 transit connect with a flat battery this morning. I changed the battery to a new one and now I have no power steering and a message on the dash saying Assisted steering malfunction service required.. there was nothing wrong with the steering prior to changing the battery. Is there some kind of reset required?
