milofilo
My ford transit connect 2011 is not able to lock regularly. The doors lock and then immediately unlock, as if they have sensed that one of the doors are open. The open door light is on. Sometimes if you keep trying to close all the doors, especially drivers door, it will lock. It can take over 50-100 tries. This is very bad because I live in a city. I have paid over $600 to replace the actuator and remove the after-market alarm, with no luck. Would love some help/ideas.

G B L
it could need to have the door adjustment checked , sounds like it is sensing one door not closed enough.
Honus
I have the same issue with a 2012 model. The passenger door and the rear doors will lock, but the driver's door and the two sliding doors will not.
sprocket64
My solution is to jiggle the ignition key 2 or 3 times, locks all doors. 2012 Transit Connect.
LadyConnect
Just bought a 2013 transit connect. I haven’t been able to figure out the locks. The back doors lock and unlock fine with the remote. The sliders and front doors are hit or miss. If I lock with the remote the sliders lock but have to lock front doors with key. They’re so messed up I’m afraid I’m going to get locked out. HELP. BSJBSJ
Does it have after market LED lights in it? I replaced the incandescent dome light on my 2021 with a LED. That brand of LED interfered with the fob's signal and I had to find another one to get the locks to work reliably. Took me awhile to figure out it wouldn't lock/unlock when the dome light was on. Worked fine when it wasn't. Edited September 2, 2021 by BSJBSJ
Wingerr
Same problem. Seems like a bad design decision to use these integrated door latch/door ajar sensors as they're apparently just not reliable.
