superyawn
We're shopping for a 2011 Transit from afar.... Could someone clarify the cargo height of the 2011 Transit Connect XLT Wagon with seats removed? I was confused by the specs on the Ford website. Cargo height is listed as: Cargo Height Maximum 53.1in (First Row) and 59.1in (Second Row - Wagon). Thanks in advance for your input. mrtn
I don't get it. The floor and roof are virtually level. There shouldn't be any height difference in the back. Noone delivers cargo in the front seat y0.

I just went to look at a side view of the TC I am still waiting on. It appears that the TC, like other vans, is wedge shaped. It is higher in the back than in the front. That would explain the 6" rise. This lets you get thru the back door with a taller cargo than otherwise.
