Syrup Guy here. I'm new to the forum having just discovered it while searching for answers to some issues I'm having. I'll get right to it: I purchased a used 2010 Transit Connect wagon this past summer. I love the vehicle from a utility standpoint

it serves my business very well and I can transport a lot of syrup and display materials to my events.

I've had more that a few problems for a vehicle with <30K. Today I went to pick up 500LBs of sugar and when I got to the loading dock the cargo doors would not unlock. I tried the key, the remote and unlocking from the column. Nothing worked!@!@##

I got in the back of the vehicle and tried to use the emergency unlock and still no luck. It appears the bottom of the door is unlocking but the top will not release.

Has anyone experienced this issue? Any help would be appreciated last resort is yet another trip to the dealership.

Also, when I drive @ night oncoming traffic constantly flashes me assuming that my brights are on I have tried driving with brights on and off and in both settings I get flashed. The dealer says there is no adjustment on headlamps but it's driving me crazy to

the point that I don't like driving at night.....anyone ...anyone ...have the same problem?

That's all for now Thanks in advance for any help

No problems with the rear barn doors, fortunately.

I wonder if they changed the headlight filaments to DOT-spec for you, because the EU-spec headlights have extremely sharp cutoff and should not glare to the oncoming traffic. Do you have adjustment roller in the dash for adjusting the beam to cargo load?

You need to find another Ford dealer. Of course the headlamps are adjustable!

There are multiple posts on this forum on where and how to adjust the headlamps.

Also at least one post with the same issue, headlights aimed too high.

Sorry, no help on the door issue.

Maybe the new Ford dealer you are going to find can help!
