Thinking about a TC ...

Hi all ;

I'm thinking about a TC for my next purchase to replace my Suzuki ...

I have a question regarding towing with one . I currently tow my trials bikes behind my SX4 Suzuki crossover (that suzuki USA states you can not tow with ... )But I got a Factory Suzuki equalizer hitch from a contact in Austrailia , where they advertise the sx4 towing a boat and / or up to 3200lbs w/brakes ... My triton trailer and bike together weigh about 500lbs max. loaded for a weekend .

I know there are plenty of hitches available for the TC , but I'm curious as to how they perform in the real world ?

And one other benefit I'm thinking the TC will provide me is the ability to save on the $50.00 to $100.00 a nite hotel rooms too on my weekend riding events .

Any info would be apriciated . And I've attached a photo of what a TC would be towing ...

Thanks ,

Hello again ... ,

Still thinking about a transit , I have one more question that hopefully will get a response . Are the 2nd row seats in a 2012 xlt wagon easily removable ? I know they fold up , but what is involved in taking them out ? I've got 3 kids so I have to look at the daily driver side of the van too , not just my weekend adventures :)

Thanks for the reply ,

But due to a really rude /overall bad experience and a bizarre interest rate proposed to someone with a 830 credit score , I went to the local nissan dealer and got a great deal on a NV1500 cargo van @ 3.9% interest on the loan of 17k ... And have you folks seen the NV200 that is due out in 2013 ???

See YA ,

It's available here. I have cheked it out and it's a wierd machine. Narrow, long, upright seating position to the point of being uncomfortable. Too much like the 90s vans.

Large boot tho.

Doesn't look to be a good seller.

I would say removing is easy ! :-) 2 Torx screws T-50 per seat.
