Torque converter Transit 350HD

I have 2 Transits 350hd's.  One is a 2015 and the other a 2016.  The 2015 is the problem.  Problems started right around the 60k mark..Had a shutter while driving.  Then truck started running very rough and check engine light came on.  Took it to a dealer in S Florida and they replaced coil pack and plug.  Still had shutter, so then received notice of recall for drive shaft coupler.  Was hoping that was the cause, so took it to dealership in central Florida (where we are based) and had that replaced.  Dealer said that was more than likely the cause of the shutter/vibration.  Still had problem, so I took it to my mechanic where they found it was mis firing due to wiring harness shorting on the frame rail in a couple places. Had that fixed and had fluid changed in transmission. 2 weeks ago took it back to Ford dealership I purchased it from because of same vibration/shutter and they found drive shaft coupler cracked again so they replaced it. Now, just took it back because vibration/shutter is getting worse, they tell me it's the torque converter and probably was the whole time.  Warranty is out now and new transmission/torque converter cost starts at around $5500.00.  83k on truck.  Any one else with these problems?
