CNY1/87 Posted October 5, 2017 Share Posted October 5, 2017 I leave my headlights and fog lights in the "ON" position at all times, even when I shut off the vehicle. The lights shut off when the key is out of the ignition. I have noticed on several occasions, that the fog, only the fog, light pulse just for a split second. If you blinked you would not see it. I thought I might had seen something. A few nights later I saw it happen again. And a few minutes later, again. Anyone seen anything like this? Its only visible at night, the lights barely come on, and do not project any real light... Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Don Ridley Posted October 5, 2017 Share Posted October 5, 2017 The lights are controlled by a module that is probably using pulse width modulation (PWM). You may be seeing the residual capacitance from the PWM signal.
