Just bought a new TC and last night it started making a whining sound when turning the steering wheel. this morning it is much louder. Has anyone else experienced this? This is my first ford (switched from toyota). It feels like a bad decision already.

Yep, this is the problem according to the dealer. How does this get screwed up on a new car? This is the first time I have bought an american car and a Ford. (always had toyota trucks). Not stocked! I guess I won't be a very good outside sales rep for this vehicle. This is not acceptale for a new vehicle. Especially when a claimed 600,00 of them are sold world wide.

If I can only turn back the clock.

Yes, I would rather have my power steering go than my throttle to stick wide open. You don't power steering, I was trained without it as well as ABS and traction control. You need your brakes to work. I will be sticking with Ford for the rest of my life mainly due to the fact that they did not take the bail out money from Barry Soetoro and Ford is not owned by the federal government. All Government Motor Vehicle dealers around here have been reporting huge drops in sales due to the bail out.
