Stan MI
Feels like first gear is slipping when I step on the gas. At first I thought it might be the drive by wire feeling now I'm not so sure. When I restart from a stop it will move slower than it should and then kick in kind of hard. Doesn't do it all the time. Anyone else with similar issues ?? rooney2oons
Your right. It's going in Monday. Just thought I'd see if anyone else had a similar problem. I had my tranny rebuilt at 42,000 miles under warranty.

Yes the companyI workforbought one for me for a sales van and from day one I knew something wasn't right. Last week the planet gear busted inside the transmission. It was so bad they had to replace the whole transmission. IT only has 3,800 miles. I havent even had the first oil change but I am on the second transmission.. The service manager at the Dealer said this was the 3rd one in 2 months..
breknraj
I had the EXACT same symptoms with my '10 XLT last month. I decided to park it for the weekend and get it to dealer the next week - I didn't make it home. When all was said and done, I got a new transmission at 6,400 miles. The front planetary was destroyed, and the debris took out everything in the tranny. Now that I have a new one, I'm pretty sure that the original transmission had issues from day one, since this one is quieter and smoother than the original ever was. I asked if I could get a 5 speed to replace the auto - of course I got told no (damn it!)
