This was the first sunny day I drove it and I noticed a strange discoloration on the side and rear (liftgate) windows. It's almost a honeycomb pattern and seems to be worse near the top of the window. In some lighting conditions, you really hardly see it, and not at all if it is cloudy. Late afternoon, if the sun is coming in the right side of the vehicle, you see the discoloration on the left side windows and vice versa. I have not tried to remove it. Is this the sprayed-on paint sealer, and the result of a poor ( or none at all) masking job? Has anybody else seen this? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I would think that the entire body is painted before any parts are added so I doubt it's something sprayed on the car unless they coat it to protect it before transport.
