madlock
I just logged on to FLMowner.com and was alerted of a recall to my VIN for a "HEADLINER PUSHPIN REPLACEMENT". Am heading to the dealer over the weekend to see what this is all about. I've otherwise noticed nothing of consequence.
Hal
Stopped at the dealership today to order a new seatbelt to replace the one I screwed up. When I ordered it the recall notice for my Tc came up on the screen. No one there at the time knew any more than "HEADLINER PUSHPIN REPLACEMENT" either. Guess I'll find out when my letter comes or when they do it the seatbelt shows up first.
isellford
Had my pushpins replaced yesterday. i sure feel a lot safer now! There are 2 other TSB's out there; one for rear brakes. At a slow speed some Connects make a clunking sound in rear brakes when applied. There are several repairs to solve witht he last one being to replace drums. Other is water leaking opnto pass front floor. I have this issue. Need tohave cabin air filter box re sealed; must be where H2O is coming in. Shoul dhave that done by weekend [takes a special caulk gun to applky the adhesive].

I had that problem with my 2001 Focus and it has been a recurring problem on some Focuses ever since. BTW: I fixed my focus myself.
Hal
Had my push pins replaced. If I had known what they were going to use I might have told them forget it. New push pin have a much larger thick sort of ugly looking head on them.
4DThinker
Looks like it took a beefier pin to solve the original problem. I'll agree they are an aesthetic downgrade though. 4D
