Wu52tzw
Help! I changed the turbo on my 2001 transit started the engine and ran it for about ten minutes then turned it off and now it won't start. Turning over ok just won't fire up now. Any ideas? omniphil
I wish my transit had a turbo :( Sounds like the turbo wheel might have seized blocking airflow. Is this a new or used turbo? Yes we need some Turbo disels here in the US this gasoline engine not exactly economical. It's not fair.
omniphil
Used turbo. Was turning fine before I put it in and ran for ten minutes. I would pull the intake pipe off and see if you can still spin the turbo wheel by hand. Turbos tolerance are very tight, something may have got in there. I would like the 2.0 turbo from the Focus ST :-) Edited December 23, 2014 by omniphil

I think we'll see the EcoBoost in the T.C. before too long.
omniphil
As of 2014 we already have the ecoboost engine available :-)
