Joseph Hovanec
I've had my transit for about three months now and I put a Adrian steel aluminum ladder rack and a 24' fiberglass extention ladder on. Problem is there is an annoying drone at highway speeds. I'm wondering if anyone has a solution for me. It makes an issue when I use the Bluetooth feature because everyone complains about the noise while I am on a call. I have thought about fabricating some kind of cap for the ladder but wanted to ask if anyone has come up with any other solutions.
robertlane
Is there a deflector that you can put in front of the rack?
Dave H
If the noise is only when you have the ladder on, try shooting the ladder rungs full of spray foam. That'll quiet it right down and keep wasps and the like from nesting in the rungs! I have a Prime design rack on mine and it makes a little wind noise with the rack alone. Moving it back on the roof helped. Dave
