TheFarrier
Hello everyone, the heater in my 2007 transit connect has stopped working. The blower itself is ok, but it will not blow hot/warm air at all, only blowing freezing cold air no matter how long the engine is running. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Willie
Is the engine getting hot on the temp gauge? Thats the first thing to determine.
TheFarrier
No, it overheated on me once, a little over a month ago, ( lack of coolant ), but was working fine until about a 2 weeks ago, I topped up coolant levels and since then it's blowing cold. Willie
First thing I'd check is the thermostat. Sounds like you were losing coolant though which generally means a leak. Anyway I think your problem is not the heater but the cooling system. There is a very good chance of it being an inexpensive fix. Good luck. robertlane
