  1. Fact is, my Ford 2014 Transit Connect LWB XLT is the only car I've ever owned that strangers walking by will ask me about. Here for general questions, future issue support, and inspiration. Will do some searching but will say for now... • passenger side sliding door intermittently won't latch. WD-40 has seemed to help, but still not sure what's going on. Luckily it's yet to totally fail. Love to hear what I should be doing for that door. • just begun the process of finding the right roof rack thx, ctodd
  2. I just purchased a used 2016 Transit Connect LWB passenger version. Selling my beloved Chevy Astro van after 15 years and 165,000 miles. Haven't driven the TC more than fifty miles yet, but so far I believe it will fit all my needs. Took out the third row seats to gain more floor space. Any worries I should have? The vehicle has 30,000 miles on it. Clean Car Fax. Thanks..
  3. Like the title says i bought a 2014 transit connect wagon LWB and the Ford dealer removed the seats for me. I have no use for these they are out of a brand new car. Never been used or sat in. If you go to ford to buy these seats complete they are more than 2,500$ for both. These are the third row seats. (2 Seats, Right, and Left), bolts included. Its super cool the way they fold, i just bought the vehicle for work and have no use for them. My loss your gain shoot me a message for any questions. -2 (new condition) Ford Transit Connect XLT LWB 3rd row seats. - $950 w/ rails and hardware. (easy bolt in seats) I live in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. I really do not want to ship but will at buyers expense. Call or message for more pics and info. http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/pts/4752849356.html
  4. Hello All, It has come to my attention that it is very difficult to locate specialty vehicles such as CNG transit connects, taxi packages, wagons and cargo's. I was directed to this website to be of service to those of you looking to purchase or to help answer questions prior to purchase. I currentley have several ( 35+) variations of New 2012 dedicated cng transit connects in stock here at my dealership. I am located in Orange, California at Villa Ford as a Fleet Manager. I just recentley helped out a gentelman that flew out here from San Jose to purchase a 2012 dedicated cng transit connect XLT Wagon, whom was very pleased to have located his vehicle, stating " these are very hard to find". It is he that told me about all the different forums and thought it would be a good idea to let people know that they are available and I have them here and ready to go. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you. D
  5. I've just picked up my new 2012 TC XLT. I was looking for a vehicle that would give me both economical city driving and some of the comforts of a camping car without going overboard about it. Any help/hints/suggestions will be appreciated. I've already faced my first problem... charging/using an accessory battery. Bought a battery isolator but now that it's installed and shows signs of use, it doesn't work and according to dealers, it never will due to the feedback needed by the alternator ! :-( 2 dealers have suggested I put the batteries in parallel with a cut off switch... that worries me a bit... Isn't there a risk of overdraining the alternator by connecting 2 batteries in parallel ? Anyway, I'll let you known my progress.
