  1. Please forgive me if this has been discussed. This is my first post, and after a search, I did not find the answer. If it's been discussed, please kindly provide links to those discussions. Thank you! My question(s): is it possible to install seats (and safety belts) to the cargo portion of a transit connect? And if so, can you share links/pics? We're looking at making a mini-camping van, so would prefer to go with the cargo version (not the wagon). I like that there's no windows in the back of the cargo version, and if we got the wagon, we'd have to rip everything out anyway to do the conversion the way we want.
  2. I want to ground my house battery 12volt 100ah lithium. What is a good location near drivers seat ? Thanks in advance

    New TC Owner in Alaska

Hi from Anchorage, Alaska. I bought my '13 XLT van new in May, and now have about 6K miles. It runs and handles great. Am looking into towing capabilities and non-permanent conversion as camper van. Great to find this group full of all kinds of great experience and advice. Look forward to contributing.
  4. As I was working on our camper modules I discovered this product called the Tail Veil tent. Seemed like a great idea for ventilation and extra tailgating room for our micro-camper. Not a great picture but just to get you all thinking. Inside I have a tent pole between the doors. There is a perfect spot to put a small shock corded pole inserted into a little hole (where there is a rubber grommet) in the upper corner of the rear doors to help support the tent in the middle.
  5. Finally getting around to building our "modules" for our convertible multi-function TC. We have a little one so the second row seating is a must and will work as a support for part of the bed. Got lots of ideas from euro websites along with a number of folks here in the states, (including this forum). Hope to get it partially done in time for a bluegrass festival next weekend!
