Hello all, I have a 2012 TC, 111k miles. The problem is when I am low speed, or stopped, in park or drive, the instrument cluster, radio and a.c. shut down, then the cluster either returns to normal, or it comes off and on a couple times before returning to normal, during this time the engine runs normal. The computer is logging low voltage errors, I'm on the 3rd mechanic, including the dealer and they have no idea what's going on. Having issues seem to be proceeded by pulsing during braking ( feels like warped rotors) I am leaning towards bad computer, could It be something else?

The Gen 2 TCs have a center console compartment that is not very functional. It is deep and tapers at the bottom. To make things worse there are audio and USB jacks at the bottom. Anything you put in there sinks to the bottom never to be seen again. Here is a simple modification to make this space useful. Here it is....useless for storing a pocket knife, pens, garage openers etc.. I cut some closed cell foam floor exercise mat to create a shelf and a false bottom. I set the height to allow space for the USB cable. I used long thin screws to attach the standoff piece. Cutting a bevel in the front was challenging, but the material is cheap so keep trying until you get it right. Look at all that useful space! I punched the holes using various sizes of copper pipe (any other thin wall cylinder will work...just hammer it on a block of wood).

I noticed on Ebay that some gen2 TCs have a center console with an armrest, like this one. My '14 TC Van has a console with an open cubby hole like this and a single armrest on the seat. Does anyone know if I could use the former type of console with the seat I have, will the armrests fit side by side? Can I remove the armrest from the seat I have? Thanks for any help or Ideas.

My wife bought one in June. I find both armrests to be useless. Console is to low and to far back. Door is to far from driver seat. Has anyone seen any type of armrest extender?
