  1. Greetings, all! I did a search, so if this is a known issue and I missed it, please just aim me in the right direction. 2020 TC XLT, cargo van. The switch to enable/disable the air conditioning system in the van has failed. The little light on the button turns and off, but the a/c is permanently 'enabled'. That doesn't mean it runs all the time. It's just awake and will respond when needed. The rest of the climate controls work as they're supposed to, so I can get the a/c to shut down by turning up the temperature control. Not a bad time of year to have this happen, and since I was out in the midwest during the recent heat wave, I'm glad it failed in an enabled state, but it still means there's something wrong somewhere. Has anyone else run into this, and know where the fault has occurred? I've had the van in for servicing at the dealership once, and they couldn't locate the problem. I have another appointment with them for a longer, more intensive search to figure out where something has failed, but I thought I'd check here, with the 'hive mind', to see if anyone else has encountered anything similar. Thanks in advance.
  2. Excellent! Many thanks! I figured someone here would have the answer!
  3. The round black bit is not part of the bracket. It's the fastener. The center is recessed, but not by much. It does not take an allen wrench. The sides of the hole are knurled, like the edge of a quarter. It's not a hexagon. Before I bought the van, I glanced at these, and thought, "Oh, it'll take an allen wrench and I'll have it off there in minutes." Wrong! It's not a catastrophe if I can't get it out of there, and I can always stop by the Ford dealership and ask them what's required in order to remove it. I figured I'd see if anyone here knew before I went that route.
  4. Greetings! I am the owner of a brand new shiny 2020 TC XLT cargo van. I've got the fixed 2nd row glass on the passenger side, in the sliding door, and it has that security grill thing over the inside. I'd like to remove it. I've done a search here, and failed to find a topic on what's required to get it out of there. Can anyone tell me what kind of bit or process is necessary to remove that ... or aim me at an existing topic if I've missed one? Thanks in advance.
  5. Thank you so much for sharing this and more importantly, for posting the picture of the paint you used. I really like the granite look, and I was having a terrible finding the textured paint. Came back to check what you had posted, and ... success!!
