I can recommend https://www.heatshieldstore.com for any other window coverings you might need (back passenger, third row, and back glass, both versions). They have them for each window in whatever model you have. For a good while they did not have the full set for the SWB. They sent me a kit and I marked them out, so now I have full sets for each of my TCs. They are great for privacy and do in fact keep out a lot of heat.

I believe that the sunroof requires the antenna to be moved from the usual location in the front center above the windshield. My 2015 has the panoramic sunroof and the only antenna is see is a flat version just behind the roof glass on the driver's side. Of course that may vary from model year...just be thankful your model was not included in the sunroof recall that ended with 2017 year!

I bought my 2015 TC XLT from my local dealer in early 2017 with 33 miles on it. I know it sat on lot because I kept driving by it (was driving VW Jetta diesels at the time). It was an odd combination, SWB but loaded, might as well be Titanium. Salesman said family buyers didn't want it because it didn't have the third seat, and it was too much for cargo buyers. When the VW diesel fiasco came I started looking at it. Perfect for me though, and getting near 40K on it now with no complaints, just put on some new Goodyears. So when I saw this 2019 it was about same situation (different dealer, small town South). This one not as loaded but enough, and almost $12K off of sticker. They just wanted it gone. Got it tagged and insured, so we're good to go. Looking around now for how to put on rails since this doesn't have factory ones... Guess it's time to stop piggy-backing this thread too!

Late to the party here but came to investigate the "Panoramic Sunroof" recall issue. After about two weeks of conversations with my local Ford Service Manager we arranged to leave our 2015 SWB TC with a local auto glass installer. Not sure if this is standard procedure but this is small town America and didn't seem unusual. In the process of removing the old glass it was broken. So now we are waiting for Ford to deliver a new glass. This has been something of a troubling process altogether. Nobody in the service department had even been made aware of it. We have had zero issues with water or wind leakage. I guess it doesn't help that most in the business don't even know what a Transit Connect is, much less that there are wagon versions that are actually equipped like regular passenger vehicles. Just thought I'd pass along the experience.

I think mine is without heated windshield but there is a large plastic cover over and beneath the rearview mirror housing. I like the idea of the transponder being usable for more than one vehicle.

Are any of you TC pilots living in Florida and using one of the SunPass transponders (E-pass or LeeWay as well) for tolls? I live in the Pensacola area and the Pensacola Beach bridge is going to all-electronic pay collection for tolls. The SunPass system allows you to buy a window sticker or windshield-mount transponder or else you have to have your car tag read and then they bill you with a monthly administrative fee. A visit to the SunPass web site says that 2011-2015 Ford Transit Connect with heated windshield falls under "special considerations," but I'm not sure what that means, it seems to be saying that you have to get a bumper-mount version of the transponder. Mine is a 2015 but not sure about the heated windshield feature. If you're using the system I'd appreciate knowing how it works for you and where you put the transponder, if that's what you're using.

Recommendations on Sun Shades (2014)

You can now get a full set, front row, second row, third row and back glass (lift gate or doors) from HeatShield. They only have the third row set for long wheel base. Go to their website and enter your model information. These are tops not only for shade but for heat deflection, and they hold up way better than any I've ever tried. -
Yeah, skylight, leather, Sync3, roof rack...lots of nice stuff. Missing heated seat, auto light, but not much else!

33 Miles. Crazy, but true. Thing was built Jan. 2015. Was told that the lack of third seat was a continual deal-breaker. It is really loaded, so I guess that ran off some other buyers. We like it!
