  1. I'm a director of photography and use my TC to haul my camera and lighting gear. It's perfect in size for a small shoot, and because the floor is low enough,I can finally roll my cart up with a ramp right into the van, which makes my life very easy! Not even a year and already 19,000 miles on it. I also use the van as a moving billboard for my other business, www.photonightlight.com. Hope to Post some photos soon...
  2. I welcome the addition of the rear portion glass windows. But I think we're hurting more for a gearbox that's more 2011, as oppose to the 1980's vintage one we currently have. Or a manual, or a diesel, or an AWD version. Also, I wish you'd stop teasing us with those beautiful alloy wheels, when all we have are those ugly, cheap hubcaps. Other than that, I love my TC. It's a no nonsense work vehicle that I find pleasant to drive despite the noise and the spartan character.
  3. What they really need to do is install solar panel on the roof, and squeeze a few more miles in sunny areas. But regardless, you might be surprised of how many people will love this electric version. For me, if the range was better and the price was right I would snatch one instantly. Unfortunately 75 miles is not enough for me.
  4. will we be able to add the camera and the upgraded audio to the 2010 model?
  5. I've also had a 2004 Sienna which was an incredible workhorse and I ended up selling it with 170k on it. Never gave me any problems. Just bought a TC which I think was the right choice. But... a used Sienna without the back seats has 150 cubic Ft of cargo room, same as the TC van. And it's just as gas efficient and much much more comfortable. So, although I love TC I could have saved a bundle with a used Sienna.
  6. I'm a cameraman and I just bought one today. Should work great for hauling gear and save on gas. But, consider also a used minivan such as Toyota Sienna. Take the middle seats out, fold the back seats down and you have a massive amount of space in a very comfortable vehicle, which is also very efficient on gas. I've had one for about 5 years and it was incredible (aside from the fact you are driving a giant fridge!)...
