Thanks. They are also being offered on ebay by Masterack without the netting. However, I don't see them on Masterack's website. I think the netting is very useful.

The agent I spoke with at Adrian said they were not available. I don't have a lot of confidence in his answer because he seemed unsure about what I was asking for. Do you have any Adrian part numbers?

Dealer replaced the pushpins Saturday. Took more time to do the paperwork.
-
How long to receive them? What is the cost in US $?
-
Wow - Thanks Woody. They really seem like they could be useful.

Does anyone have update information about availability of the "rear door pockets" like are available in Europe?
-
I saw a Ford dealer about this Saturday. They took my vin # and said that they had to order the parts. I was concerned that the bulkhead would have to be removed, but was told that the only pushpins involved were the 2 side pushpins.

Has anyone replaced the battery in the key fob? I have had the fob apart and can't figure out how to get the old battery out without breaking the key fob.

I just heard that a Telcom service company sent one up to Duluth Minnesota, but that it couldn't handle the steep hills in Duluth so they sent it back to Minneapolis.

I wonder how the US Transit will hold up.

Thanks, I was wondering what Europe Transit's longevity has been to hopefully get an idea of what to expect from the US version.
-
Does anyone know what the longevity statistics are for Transit Connects in Europe?

I have over 800 lbs of tools and supplies and have no trouble merging onto freeways or keeping up with or passing traffic at a steady 55, 60, 65, 70 mph. I really don't notice any difference between the Transit and my former Chevy Astro.

These were most interesting; references and pictures to optional powertrains, towing, rear door storage

I found this site to be an interesting comparison to the US Transit Version http://www.ford.co.uk/Commercialvehicles

I have taken several 90-130 mile trips at 60 to 70 mph and have not noticed any humming.

Just filled up and if my math is right, 305 miles by 11.675 gallons = 26.12419700214133. That's with my Shelving,. tools, and materials loaded in. The was mostly freeway but in town averaging 55 mph. I was a bit surprised.
