  1. I honestly thought the blind spot convex mirrors could be adjusted as in the ones on my 2005 Superduty. I want to see more of the road in my blind area in the lanes to my left and right. Was hoping there was a way to gain access to the area behind the convex mirrors behind the outer cover, and modify that mount. Other than that, I like them better than the dwarf mirrors that came with it (2012 XLT)....Guess I need to dig in and see how to remove the outer shell cover. My hats off to your ingenuity in solving a poor alignment issue.... (:
  2. I have the "German" mirrors ordered from Trevor... I read where you adjusted the angle of your convex mirror. How did you do that? Mine could use a little tweaking. Regards, Woody
  3. Thanks! .... Not really critical, but if the item has most of its mass off to one side, just rotate till the heavy side is closest to receiver hitchs' centerline....
  4. Built this break away carrier to haul big ticket items such as condensers, and evaporators, up to 250 lbs. It is adjustable up to 36" in length, and has tie-down holes on the bottom of each cross-bar for ratchet tie-down points. It stores inside the TC, in a box with felt bumpers. (No rattles)... Also in the box are the components for a hitch mounted break-away work bench.(not pictured)
  5. I picked up my 2012 TC yesterday. ( took 7 months to get here). I ordered it with sync, but am installing a Kenwood 7190 in dash navigation unit along with the Kenwood I-Data link maestro. The maestro will unable all sync functions to remain active. Crutchfields site says it won't fit, blah blah blah... According to my research, it will. Got mine at www.savingslot.com at about 200 bucks cheaper than Crutchfield. This 7190 has a 6.95" screen, & also has rear view camera option, but my TC has the factory rvc... Good luck! Woody
