Four stock, new-condition hubcaps for sale. I took these off as soon as I got my 2012 TC home. $20 per + shipping. or $60 + shipping if you want the whole set. Still available as of 6/20/12!

I missed the overhead eyeglasses holder from my former car. Fischer Automotive makes a reasonable substitute for $25: http://www.fischerus...iversal_500.gif

After driving for a couple of weeks minus the not real pretty stock hubcaps my silver center caps arrived from fordpartsuk. They fit correctly and cover the lug nuts. However, they are plastic not metal like the in the fordpartsuk.com photo. They cost about $120 including shipping. I'll still leave them on as long as possible. They do not attach very securely and I expect one or more will fall off. I may add a dab of silicon to try to keep them on a while longer. The part number is 4447375. To clarify, yes the covers are called Transit Connect Steel Wheel Covers. See this link: http://www.fordparts...47375_c_288.htm The part number in the ad and the one on the Ford-branded bags the covers came in is the same. I told Trevor, the sales rep I dealt with, and even offered to let him use my pictures for the Site to show a correct part. He was very responsive during the sale so let's see if he can get the change made to the fordpartsuk.com page. One of them fell off yesterday, before I had figured out how to keep them on without using glue. I found it in the gutter near my house, scuffed, but still usable. They are all off for now until I affix them more permanently.

Rplacing roof brake light module
MarkH replied to djcaswel's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lights, Mirrors, Window Tint & Wipers
On reading a post about the high third brake light being a leak waiting to happen I bought a door panel connector removal tool and a 10mm deep 1/4" drive socket I wanted to lift the light up to put a bead of silicone between the rubber gasket and light assembly and around the wire route hole and the two bolt holes. By removing the four rear headliner connectors and pulling the rear of the headliner down I was able to access the two 10mm nuts. There was no sign of a leak, I did add the silicone so there is even less chance of a leak now. It wouldn't be too hard to fill the three small holes with rubber plugs and add the Euro-version door-mounted light if you wanted to. I forgot to mention the the two 10mm nuts that hold the light on were barely finger tight. I don't know what the torque spec is, but I did use a ratchet to reattach them. -
Does anyone know a source for stic-on, adhesive, cloth-covered arm rest pads? I'd like to stick something on the hard, plastic arm rests molded into the door panel? I found some that stick to office chair arm rests but they are foam and I think they will probably start to flake apart with use.

I think I may be seeing a pattern here. I have the AM/FM Single CD player (Late Availability). Maybe only certain stereos will play after the key is turned to the off position. I asked my dealership to research this a few days ago and they haven't got back to me yet.

I recently purchased a 2012 TC XLT Premium and according to the manual it has a ten minute accessory delay. I should be able to raise the power windows or play radio for ten minutes after the key is turned off. My TC does not allow this. Is this correct? Is the anual wrong? Can anyone raise their power windows after the key is turned to off? If my TC should be ding this I need to take it back for repair.
