My front drivers door lock is bad. Have made many people jump when they hear it. Purchased the new lock, any tips on changing it? Looks tight in there.

Fuse blew for brake lights. Replaced fuse, switch, and by passed third brake light. Still blowing fuses. Any Ideas ?

no grease fittings = problems

I used 3" pvc pipe cut and shaped to contour of dash. Painted with black plasti-dip. Then siliconed into place. Been in use now 9 months problem free. Except for those with shorter arms.

Got my racks on ebay from van tech. Good quality, easy install. easy to customize. Only 119 + 15 shipping for bars and mounts. 199 same with adjustable tracks. Other ladder type racks also available. --- Got my Mohawk canoe on craigs list. off season steal 200 with paddles.

Purchased these speakers online from Madisound. I've purchased speaker components and parts from them in the past and have been very happy with their products and price. Installed today , easy fit and great performance, better than expected for half the price of some of the bigger name speakers. Removing the door panels was a little tricky. I would buy the one in pic if available stateside. I've had my TC for 2 weeks , now thinking of making my own racks. Need to carry ladders and long stock, also 2 kyacks in free time. I'll try to contact on shipping.

Gas cap is also a minor inconveinence, though you will be happy when and if gas goes to $5- a gallon.

Had our first snow in Mass. last night. My new transit handled it excellent. It was only a few inches but performed so well I'm looking forward to trying it in the deeper stuff. Cant say that about most of the vehicles I've driven lately. Ordered this from WalMart to clean the snow from the roof. Snow was a little deeper today, I would rate the TC as good in the snow, not excellent as first post. Still 10 times better than rear wheel drive vans that I have owned. Have not tried it with a heavy load yet.

Good luck with your TC. Guess I got lucky, went to dealer last wend. Silver TC with windows and rear bench had just arrived. A few hours later I was driving it home. Now I'm looking at all my upgrade choises. Speakers first, stock are way to tinny sounding. May have to make my own stainless roof racks, multi purpose for ladders, kyacks, etc. Already planning my first golf trip for March to Myrtle Beach.

Any interest in getting together to share ideas , See others upgrades. Minor work and installs. Maybe some food sharing , After market vendors etc. Any ideas please post. We have a few months to plan.

Hi Down the road in Milford MA. Love my new van. Just wish that they imported them with the diesels available elsewhere. Also a member of TDI Club.com Tons of info on diesel autos. Hope this website can grow into a very useful info source. Its only as good as its menbers.
