I'm particularly interested in knowing if they're the horizontal version like mine without the added blind-spot mirror, or more vertical like the Euro/UK version?

Hi 5axman, I'v been unable to find a pic of the 2011 built in blind spot mirrors like yours, and the local dealership only has models without. Do you have a link, or a pic of yours that you could send me?

Hmmmm, great question Zepper. I have the same desire to upgrade, and same theft concerns, and thus wanting to keep the unit looking stock and less desirable. Didn't think of swapping with a Mustang or other Ford unit. From the interaction I've had with the dealership here in Reno (terrible), I am assuming that this compatibility question would be even more daunting to them. Seems like it would be a "trial and error" process. Would be great if we could find a auto wrecking yard that would allow returning a unit until we got one that worked. I'd even be willing to pay a reasonable "restocking" fee in the end, regardless of success or not. What do you think? Have you scoped out any of the other Ford units?

Hi Elppid, Wondering if you've resolved your problem with reestablishing your Bluetooth. Asking because I am considering upgrading my unit to the factory Bluetooth unit.

Hi azdamay, Do you know if there was a stereo unit made for my 2010 Transit (or other year that is compatable) with built-in Bluetooth and that I can plug my iPhone in and control the music from my iPhone from the stereo display?

Sorry I don't have an answer to your question, but I would like to ask you about your "oval shaped unit." Is yours the one shown in the pic Azdamay attached to his reply? If so, I am wondering if it has Bluetooth built in? The reason I ask is that my unit (on my 2010 Transit) does not have the Bluetooth, and because I want to add Bluetooth and would prefer to keep my unit 'stock,' I am wondering how well your unit worked for you?
