Hi all, I have a 2020 Transit Connect and am enjoying doing a "van build" with it! It is not metal inside, it has the liner. How does one put up hooks on the wall with a liner? I have used velcro to place some little curtains up; being light weight, they stay well. But I wish I could fasten a couple things to the walls/ceiling and don't know how. I also know I have to be careful near the front about the airbags, to not puncture the walls up front and maybe setting off the airbags. I'll put up a couple pictures to give an idea (this shows the ceiling, that includes the lining I'm talking about). I am also going to copy this post and place in another topic area that may be more correct. I can't find answers to this anywhere! Everywhere I look they show the cargo vans with the metal interior, not lined as I have. Thank you!

Instead of looking it up, I'll ask you ☺️. What are the sensors of which you speak? When I spent the night in my TC, I locked with my key fob and twice, the alarm went off. I was so freaked out. It was 10 o'clock at night and I was in a KOA full of RVs, I was so embarrassed! I FaceTimed(called) my hubby and at first he told me to put my key in the ignition. I did for a few minutes, then didn't think it was a good idea (maybe use up battery or confuse the system or something). So I reached to the driver's door and manually locked the car from the door. It didn't go off again. I slept with my key in my hand in case I had to turn the alarm off again. Since then I have practiced in my yard, staying inside with the doors shut and locking from the driver's door and haven't had that happen again. Any one have info or advice?

Haven't made any permanent changes in my transit yet. Hubby removed 2 passenger side seats, I'm folding down the 2 on the driver's side and have put up some accessories/ curtains. Bought a small porta potty and a small table top size fridge that has a 12V and a 110 plug. Still have plans to put an inverter to have on board electricity but wanted to stay overnight as a test. Fortunately was cool, so didn't need a/c. Fun success! Hubby has a promaster, so I'm fortunate to have his knowledge to help me. ☺️

Brand new with my transit. Love it! Hubby took 2 of the passenger-side seats out. Need to keep 2 of the back seats in, in case want to take people around, but am laying them down to put my bedding on top. Able to fit my bike in behind the front seats. Have more plans, working on it one weekend at a time. When the mattress arrives, I'll take a picture! ? -

Hi! Also from sunshine state, bought 2020 Transit last weekend and love it! My hubby took out 2 of the seats for me, to make more room. See, am able to put my bike in it. Am working on it, to make a small travel van for day/road trips. ☺️
