  1. Has anyone here opened up the foot well in one of these ? I'm contemplating a rear seat install. The fab work I can do, just currently don't know if this foot well is real on all Gen 1 models.
  2. My 2013 TC has the RSC system which as many of us have found makes this van USELESS when trying to climb a slippery slope. Between the small diameter wheels and the rcs sending the engine rpm into limp mode I was nearly unable to climb the dirt / gravel trail going to my cabin. Can't imagine what a little snow might do ! Anyway, I rigged a switch to shut the system off, thus giving back the throttle mashing, wheel spinning driveability it needs. The only quirk is the need to shut off and restart the engine to restore rcs function after turning the switch back to normal mode. Cut and splice and switch in series into the power lead to the module.
  3. I thought the fact that the rear two dome lights do not have switches on them was a silly engineering oversite, so..... I installed micro push button switches and LED bulbs in them.
  4. When I did my pan drain plug and new filter the total drained out was 4 quarts, I used the Valvoline synthetic. Then after 500 miles I drained via the plug, this netted 3.7 quarts. Added that amount again with the Valvoline and the shifting has improved substantially over what it was when I bought it with 96k on the clock and who knows if it had ever been serviced. Post back after you install the Mazda pan, that was a great find !
  5. Thanks, I'll start thread digging to see if I can find it or if anyone trips on it please post the link.
  6. As it turns out the seats DO have airbags.
  7. I ask about the side bags because I saw the wiring schematic for them in the factory electrical schematic manual I purchased. Likely shows all possible variations of builds.
  8. How about gen 1 having SIDE airbags ?
  9. Good to know, now I wonder if driving it with the passenger seat out will screw up the airbag system. I had a vw beetle that I took the pass seat out to haul something and it fried the airbag control module.
  10. 2013 XLT Do the front seats have airbags in them ? I'm thinking about taking the seats to an upholsterer to try to "De-Stuff" them, we all know how freaking hard they are !
  11. That looks like what I saw but for that price.....mine are fine !
  12. Yes, repeaters. Mine is a 2013, the current ones are dull orange. the ones I saw on a post were a bright orange, maybe they were from a different model ?? Sure looked nice.
  13. Somewhere I saw a post where someone replaced the little round dull marker light with the Euro version which is bright orange. I dug through many threads and can't find it, maybe another forum or ?? If anyone has seen it and has a link please post, thanks.
  14. I sourced a C-max wheel from a seller on ebay in Lithuania, arrived quicker than expected and in prime condition. It is a direct swap. A slight bit better looking than the original one. One thing worth noting, the wheel I purchased came with the cruise control switches, they are the same in every visual way, including wire color and plug ........BUT........ after install my cruise didn't function. These switches are resistance matched to the pcm build, so I swapped my original switches back in and all is well.
  15. I did mine, some info is in this thread; https://www.fordtransitusaforum.com/threads/2013-door-question.86621/ I weld a bushing in flush to the inside, 1/8" npt brass plug in it.
