MPG displayed on my instrument cluster

Are you able to get average gas mileage continuously or is it a once and done deal? I'd like to have a readout all the time.

It only displays in the "run" ignition position before starting the van. The instructions are on my other instrument cluster gallery post. I have a ScanGauge,see another of my gallery posts, to display MPG while running.
