dbv
What's the secret hack for insurance on these? We're buying a 2010 which has some modifications, namely a trio of large wood boxes fitted so that a bed can be placed on top, and gear stowed in the boxes. Geico, who currently insures the vehicle, says they can't insure it because it has a bed, and a kitchen, and a bathroom. We've explained that there is NO kitchen or bathroom, and the bed is simply a mattress on some boxes. How the hell do you get insurance?? mbrint
I just insured mine as a regular van at the stock value. They never asked about the camper additions. I just figured I'd lose the value of the camper conversion if it got written off in an accident.
