Leeb Posted September 7, 2020 Share Posted September 7, 2020 2020 Transit Connect USB ports do not consistently connect to Sync system. Connects and disconnects every 5 seconds. New Apple cord, not after market. Ford Sync system will not work with IPhone. What can I do? Called Dealer and they said buy a new cord. Not happy with that answer. PWFX Posted September 8, 2020 Share Posted September 8, 2020 Well, it's a 2020 so I'm guessing it's very much under warranty. There are 3 elements in play... your device, the connection cord, the sync system. If you've already ruled out the connection cord that leaves 2 elements. Can you make a good connection going the wireless bluetooth route? Does someone in your family, or a friend have a device that could be connected via cord to see if that works? At the end of the day, because it's under warranty, just bring it back to the dealer and don't take no for an answer. Just my 2 cents...
