No water in oil, cannot see/smell coolant in exhaust. Have not had a coolant test for exhaust fumes yet, so could be headgasket. I changed reservoir cap. Losses are not consistent, occasionally I don't lose so much & sometimes more. Garage looked for leaks & changes thermostat, seemed to work for firat 30 miles, but now I am losing coolant again. Many thanks Nick I think that that amount of coolant would be very obvious in the exhaust or oil. Often coolant leaks only when the engine is running. It might also evaporate when the engine becomes warm. For these reasons you may not see it on the garage floor. I'm hoping that it is something cheap and easy to repair, and I have a hunch it is.
