Dave In Newport
Friends ~ I have a cruise control that is not cooperating. No dash lights are coming on ...previously it was an intermittent failure...(sometimes would work, sometimes not...sometimes kick-out while using it) now nada...I have checked both fuse #142 under the dash and # 26 near the battery under the hood. Both are good. Brake lights on both sides of the door are operational. The brake light on the roof is NOT operational (seems like that would not matter but let me know). I am guessing that the switches have failed on the steering column. I am not seeing how to get into that assembly. I have searched the internet and this forum as much as I know how and not finding additional detail. Thanks in advance for you thoughts on the matter. bikinchris
Try the wheel speed sensor first. You could hook an ohm meter and see if it pulses when you turn the rotor.
