Jtsalt
SO I have a 2010 TC with 52k on it. Here is what has gone wrong on it so far... Passenger door trim fell off. A small amount of rain gets into the cargo area through the back doors. A snow storm ripped my antenna off my roof, 220 to reattach Needed new brakes and one tire. Fan froze, emptied my coolant, upon trying to refill reservoir on the truck noticed I had to use only Fords coolant. Replace the fan out of warranty, 680.00. 2 mysterious cracks at the base of the windshield running horizontally across the window. Obviously Ford listed this as rock damage. Now during a rain storm the windshield wipers decided to stop working. Has anyone else had these issues, oh yeah I have the mysterious Turkish smell too. craziebob
You bought used or new. If used the person work horse it hard. The Transit Connect department of US Ford will not reply back, that I have found out. The Transit Connect is Ford edsel of today. I have had small problems Overdrive warning came on and down to no speed turn off engine was OK. Blind spots looking thru mirrors they should have brought EU style mirrors. When it rains door openings are wet. It gets squirley in rain have to do most of the time between 50 to 55. Going thru mountains it is in overdrive most of the time. Going thru mountains on turns it wants to go high in turn. Going thru mountions turn AC off or become a bug on semi tractor hood. Brakes are very squirley too. I saw person in Flordia that had about 75 cement blocks in it.

angela.reid8
We have a running crack just above the defroster on the windshield ! I hate the passenger side seat belt for getting tighter every time you move or reach for the radio.
