MattCook
Like the title says. I want discs in the rear. I really want, cross drilled/slotted performance brakes front and rear, but no one makes aftermarket things for the TC. I've scoured the 'net since the day I bought it back in Nov. 2010 and I keep coming up with nothing. Any help would be fantastic. Yeah, I know, the TC doesn't go fast enough, blah, blah for performance parts. I however beg to differ, this is the coolest vehicle made in my opinion and I want to go full race on this bad boy! Mikeeshaq
I have heard that in Europe, specifically UK, that rear disc brakes ARE available IF the traction control package is purchased on a new vehicle. However the Ford Electronic Parts Catalog for use here in the USA has zero info on non-USA market cars Go to the English Ebay site Type in Ford EPC There you go. You will see if what I say is true or not However just because you have part numbers, if these parts are not used in the USA, then a Ford USA dealer cannot order them And to have an English dealer send them to you, the postage will be $$$ Good luck ADDED!! MichaelNoble
http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread/t-159895.html "From the 2004 Ford Focus RS, engineers took the powerful 215PS 2.0 litre turbocharged and intercooled 16-valve Duratec RS engine. Its 310Nm of maximum torque is fed to the front wheels through a heavy-duty AP racing clutch, a robust, five-speed gearbox with a short-throw shifter and a motorsport-inspired Quaife limited slip differential. Also recognisable from the Focus RS are the Brembo 325mm ventilated front disc brakes teamed with 280 mm solid discs at the rear."
