handyphil
This morning, suddenly, my 2010 TC shudders when I put it in reverse and move backwards. No shudder in drive, but I think I felt it in park once or as I shifted into park. I didn't play around with it much for fear of causing more harm, but it's at the dealer now. Any thoughts as to what it could be?
handyphil
According to dealer, there was a TSB on heat shield noise in the back, and they also said there was dirt around the rollover prevention sensor. Anyhow, nothing major.

MattCook
Same thing on mine after I got it. Turns out I bottomed out and that rammed a bunch of rocks and dirt up into the engine mount, cleaned it out and no more sound. I didn't have any issues with the heat shield. tasmin
FWIW - I had the same issue with my previous vehicle and it wound up continuing to get worse until it also shook when AC was on, wound uip being the engine mounts.
HighSpeedKeys
mine only has 72k miles on it and it shakes in reverse, and at an idle in park. I Checked that lower mount and its clean and free of debris, I'm not wondering if I have some loose mounts tho. If im driving and I need to downshift from 3rd to 2nd the car slams into gear.
