dgilpin924
Hi. I've got an XLT Wagon and recently purchased a bedrug to install in the back. I'll need to do some cutting for holes, and to do a neat job I'll also need to remove then reinstall some trim. The trim is connected to the floor via plastic "studs". Here's a couple of pictures of what I mean: http://members.cox.net/dgilpin3/stud01.jpg'>http://members.cox.net/dgilpin3/stud01.jpg http://members.cox.net/dgilpin3/stud02.jpg'>http://members.cox.net/dgilpin3/stud02.jpg My question is how do I remove those studs? Do I just pry them out with a screwdriver? I don't want to hose things up. I sure would appreciate some help on this. Thanks guys. Hal
You need a stiff putty knife and one of the removal tools made for those fasteners. The removal tool can be purchased at an auto parts store for ~$10. Edited August 10, 2010 by Hal
