bikinchris
My check engine light came on and my dealer says it is a fault of the fuel filler. I asked if that is related to the smell I get after fill up and they said "probably" so cross your fingers and lets hope a new filler will stop the smell! bikinchris
Update: The fuel filler may not have been the cause of the light. They found that the company that put in the racks drilled a hole into the tank. SOOO, after plugging the hole and getting the new filler neck, I filled up the tank today and made sure I topped it off. No smell of fuel inside. Awesome. bikinchris
Filled it up today again and no fuel smell. It actually is making better mileage also!
bikinchris
Continued fill-ups and even an attempt to overfill the gas in an attempt to make the gas smell come back confirm that my problem has been solved completely.
