2014 Remote start install info for bi directional kit CM5Z-19G364-B

Looking for diagram or product install info. I don't have access to fords database for info. I have Mitchell and alldata but no info can be found. Please help!

I don't know about this specific vehicle, but I know that with older Ford models the remote start unit was basically a DEI unit with a Ford sticker on it.

This means that it's not plug and play. It will require a substantial amount of cutting and soldering connections together. It's essentially the same thing your local best buy/car stereo shop would install.

Ultimately, ask the parts guy at the dealer. They may have one in stock and can show you what it comes with. If it comes with a pigtail of un-terminated wires, you're probably in for a bit of work.

I've also considered this. Maybe I'll swing buy the dealership on the way home tonight and find out. I also have a lot of experience installing stereos and remote starts though, so I know how big of a nightmare these can be on modern cars.

I think I should have get the remote start from ford when I ordered the vehicle its a nice thing to have in the winter.

Do you have any experience with this setup? Looks good to me if it works well and is easy to setup as a diy
