Anyone know how to "adjust" this? Sure. Tow it using a Flex. Otherwise, not without re-flashing or replacing the ECU/PCM, which would all but most assuredly send the powertrain warranty into oblivion. BMcP
Houston must have sucked if fading in the rearview @ 92 mph didn't work. How about rockets bolted to the sides? Slow down and enjoy, fast isn't always best.
scooot
Just wondering why you would want to run a TC that fast to begin with? s
PetrosA
Just wondering why you would want to run a TC that fast to begin with? s On most American roads, I wouldn't. I would feel comfortable doing it on the Autobahn, but that's a whole other world of driving and roadbuilding. The recommended speed on most of the Autobahn is 130 km/h but much of the traffic moves at 150-180 km/h, so near or above 100 mph.

Some stretches between Lubbock and Dallas, and Houston and Dallas just dont get patrolled by State Troopers. If the flow is going 90 or more, you all go 90 or more. And believe it or not, it does not feel fast.

madlock
The very first North American "Transit Tuner". Don't forget the carbon fiber stickers and spoiler to make it lighter and more aerodynamic. Happy New Year P.S. Don't forget the resonating exhaust tip too. I hear it makes the engine more powerful.

Someday, when I get my own Transit Connect, I'll look for anodized aluminum underdrive pulleys.... B)

And believe it or not, it does not feel fast. They sure patrol around El Paso or maybe it was because I had out of state plates. I got stopped 30 miles outside of town on I-10 for having a small piece of paper on my side window to block the sun and 15 minutes later for not signaling when I changed lanes to avoid the "Trooper" who pulled out in front of me from the shoulder. My reply: "Please just let me get out of Texas"! Her reply: "You're almost there"!
FTCPNW
I got a TC so I wouldn't be driving 90. I use the cruse control to avoid excessive speeding and go with the flow.

It is a company vehicle, which I am looking for another job now anyways, so I can't have work done unless it is broken. And, I dont know what "bhp" is... or at least what it is short for. And, I dont know what "bhp" is... or at least what it is short for. "bhp" is an acronym for "brake horsepower" which, like "whp" (wheel horsepower) for all intents and purposes is the same as the generic term "horsepower".
